The Spiti is valley that's located in the high ranges of the Himalaya Mountain. The name 'Spiti' means "The Middle Land" that is the land between Tibet and India. The Spiti valley is located at the Trans Himalayas range on the Tibetan plateau where there is hardly any rain and its is snow covered almost all round the year. The road through which the people enters the Spiti remains open from June to September/October and it also allows the snow melts on the Kunzum-la-pass and also allows the vehicle to go through Kaza. There are regular bus service from Manali, which takes around 16 hours and it only stops once for taking refreshments.
